Due to gold being limited you should be very intentional about which cards and runes you enchant or you will find yourself without any gold quickly. If you have maximum energy you should burn down your energy so that you can continue to gain it as time moves forward. NOTE - Campagin encounters do not take energy to perform. You gain energy at a rate of 1 energy / 2 minutes of real world time (or 20 energy for 100 crystals not recommended use of crystals) to a maximum of 120 energy. This is a resource used to do three things: explore maps, maze encounters, and thief encounters. Maximizing the value of each resource is key to progression through the game. These resources are important to not waste as they are acquired over time. Lies of Astaroth has many resources that the player must balance as they progress through the game. While playing the game you can put the battle into auto-battle mode to have cards automatically placed when their cooldown has reached in the order they are available. The game is won when the opposing players HP reaches 0 or cards are in the cemetery. When a cards HP reaches 0 it is placed into the cemetery. HP from a card or player is lost based on the attacking cards ATK value. The actions of a card are perform its abilities in order and then attack (a card directly across from it if one exists, the opposing player if not). Once a card is placed into the battlefield it will automatically perform actions. ![]() Players can place cards into the battlefield on their turn. Each round a card is drawn from the deck. You and your opponent have a deck of cards (starting at one card to maximum of ten once level 40 is reached). Buckle up because there is a lot to cover - lets get started!
